Come prepared to discuss what made the most successful essays successful. Be prepared to use the rubric to discuss the essays.
For Friday: Read "Sir Patrick Spens" (649) and answer questions (counts as reading quiz) and read the prose passage that follows the poem. Read E Bishop: "Sestina" -- not in book.
Submit to turnitin: Poetry writing assignment: In a single document, submit in this order: Your picture poem, your two best exercises (list, secret, object/someone you know, etc), one additional poem:
