Block Day: Journal for unit is due. Questions required for all chapters except those we did orally in class. Note in your journal table of contents.
For each chapter, answer the questions in the unit package. These questions are to help your thinking about the book; they are not an end in themselves. Copying someone else's responses even if you rephrase them is cheating and defeats the purpose of the book.
Read through Chapter 6 for the Monday after Thanksgiving Break (Nov. 26).
For Nov. 27 have read the following article on young men playing video games instead of getting jobs
https://www.chicagotribune.com/business/ct-video-games-jobs-emploment-20160923-story.html
You can find the Brave New World unit questions and activities here. We will answer questions for all chapters.
Before Monday, Nov. 26 you must have read through chapter 6 (page 106) and answer questions for each chapter. For chapters with more than seven questions, you can choose the seven questions that most interest you. Each question must be answered in at least one complete sentence. Some questions require more. The question and all pronouns should be clear in your response.
A digital version of the book is on line here.
